Oh my gosh! I can’t believe Josh Blue is back in town on Friday, June 18th and appearing at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center in Colorado Springs. If you remember, this is the guy who brought audiences to tears while appearing on the 2006 Season 4 of “Last Comic Standing.”
Josh Blue actually won the competition, which secured his rightful place on the national comedy scene and ultimately propelled him to land an appearance on Ellen and Comedy Central. Josh has been referred to as the comedian who puts “Cerebral in Cerebral Palsy” and since his win on “Last Comic Standing,” he has been all over the United States performing for sold-out audiences.
He’s only going to be in town one night, so if you want to see Colorado’s own funny man, you can get tickets by calling the Stargazers Theatre Box Office at 719.476.2200 or go online to StargazersTheatre.com.
The date and time is Friday, June 18th, 2010 at 8:00 pm. Doors will open at 7:00 pm and ticket prices are $22 of which a portion will go to support the Paralympic programs in Colorado Springs. You must be 18 or older to be admitted to the Theatre.

Tips for Going Green at Work
Without everyone’s commitment to “green up” at work, it can be a bit challenging. However, you don’t need complete buy-in. There are still several things you can do within the office community that will make a big difference in your health and the health of the Earth.
Talk with upper management and go over everything you might like to see accomplished. Address cleaning products, ventilation, office supplies and office equipment. If you can get management involved, your chances of office-wide participation just improved.
Here are some recommendations that can be carried out easily.
1. Place containers near the photo copiers to put rejected copies in. You can also reuse this paper by running it back through the copier or printer and using the other side to print on.
2. Pack your own lunch in a real lunch pail instead of using plastic grocery bags or brown bagging it. Make healthy meal choices, using organic or local produce when available. Invest in reusable containers, bring your own napkin and real utensils.
3. Provide several recycling stations throughout your company. Trash cans with lids can be used for depositing aluminum cans, glass, plastic containers, old cell phones and batteries.
4. Try to encourage people to carpool. Elect a committee to help interested parties hook up with each other and begin carpooling.
5. You should move if you sit near a photo copier or Xerox machine. The fumes are noxious and unhealthy. Also, put a plant on your desk as they act as air filters to remove formaldehyde and carbon monoxide from the environment.

Frito Lay is Conserving Water for a Healthier Environment
In a time when everyone on the planet is talking about global warming, energy conservation, growing food organically and minimizing waste, there is one environmental advocate who, for the last 70+ years, has thought talk is cheap. That advocate would be Frito Lay.
Frito Lay, a member of PepsiCo, is and has been, making huge strides in environmental conservation by developing methods, processes and packaging to protect the Earth and its natural resources. One of the resources which has been a major focus for Frito Lay is water.
They began efforts in 1979 to recover the starch left in the water used to bathe the potato slices. The results were two-fold. It eliminated the need for the cities’ waste water systems to treat the water, thus recovering 66 million pounds of starch per year. Twenty-two years later, they began to recycle the potato chip water and saved 570 million gallons of water in one year, alone.
Today, Frito Lay is still laying the groundwork for implementing new ways to conserve water. They have developed ways to replace fresh water with recycled water and they also began to collect the condensation from the plant’s air conditioners for reuse in the facility. Hopefully, by the year 2011, the plant in Casa Grande, AZ will run almost entirely on recycled water and renewable energy resources. Frito Lay leads the way in conservation methods and sets an example for the rest of the world. If you would like to read more about their conservation efforts, please visit the website for Frito Lay.

If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would do?
Call and quit your job?
Would you get a lawyer?
Would you change your name and leave the country?
Would you hire an accountant or somebody who specializes in investment of large sums of money to advise you?
Would you give to charity or your family and relatives?
What would you do?
